Eyebrow Tattoo

Eyebrow Tattoo is a specialty service which has been creatively designed by Jenny who has learned various techniques from leading brow artists in USA, Europe and Asia. From her experience, Jenny has developed a unique technique of eyebrow tattooing which is very natural creating a realistic looking brow that beautifully define your eyes and facial feature. In your consultation session with Jenny, you will be provided with advice on which technique of eyebrow tattoo will be most suited to your personal style, eyebrow condition and facial features. Jenny has mastered both Microblading, Ombre Shading techniques and the combination of both (Microshading/Hybrid) to create the very amazing look for you. Imagine waking up with beautiful arches, gorgeously defined eyes and you are ready for any occasion.

Microblading

Microblading is an advanced eyebrow cosmetic tattooing technique. It is also referred to with other names including Feathering, Eyebrow Embroidery, 3-D Eyebrows, Microstroking, Feather Touch, and Hair Stroke. Microblading is a manual method which uses a hand-held tool to deposit pigments into the epidermis creating thin, hair-like semi-permanent marks which last up to 12-18 months.

Ombre Shading

Ombre Shading (or Powdery Fill) is another technique in eyebrow tattooing. Unlike microblading technique, this type of eyebrow tattooing uses a machine to implant colour in a more uniform manner, creating soft shading that resembles the application of eyebrow powder. Some ladies feel this method looks more natural, and especially suited to women whose eyebrow hair is very sparse or no-existent.

Microshading

Microshading is a combination of microblading and ombre shading to create a fuller and more defined eyebrow. This method can reduce the skin space seen with regular microblading only brows. This technique is also required to adjust the colour of faded natural eyebrows while still creating a 3 dimensional look of microblading.
Who Is A Candidate For Eyebrow Cosmetic Tattoo
Microblading is suitable for women who like the best look all the time without having to spend time daily to reshape or colour their brows. Microblading will help women whose brows are light, sparse or uneven. It is also ideal for women who have oily skin or allergies to make-up, or who have active lifestyle.
How To Prepare For Your Treatment
When making appointment with us, Jenny will provide you with details instruction to get ready for the day of procedure. You should allow at least 3 hours for the initial appointment. You should stop taking any blood-thinning products (alcohol, aspirin etc) 48 hours before your appointment. If you regularly shape your brows by tweezing, shaving, threading or waxing, please do so 3 days before the appointment. Please wear your brow makeup for style evaluation, or you can bring photos of your eyebrow makeup, and please also bring your eyebrow makeup colour with you for colour matching.
What Happens During The Procedure
First you will fill in the Client form including medical history so that Jenny can confirm it is appropriate to carry out the procedure or discuss any potential issue. Jenny will then examine your face feature and eye shapes and discuss with you your personal style. The brow shape design will be penciled on so you can consider and agree with it. Next, Jenny will create custom colour by mixing pigments to match with your preferred style, your makeup colour and to complement your skin and hair colour. To reduce discomfort, the brow area is numbed using topical anesthetic, and then pigment is implanted into the epidermis skin layer using very tiny needle strokes. These are built up into the new shape, and the area gradually made denser with lots of tiny hair strokes, depending on the desired result. This technique gives amazing results in the hands of a truly skilled artist. Before and after photos will be taken for your file and pigment colors will be recorded for returning visits.

What To Expect After Your Procedure

Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing period. Right after the procedure, your brows will look darker than you want, it is because the pigment has not settled and still sitting on top of your skin. There will be some mild swelling and redness which will fade away after a few days. The pigment colour will lighten quickly during the first week, then gradually soften and stablised over a few weeks. Once the healing of the skin starts, it can look like dandruff flakes or dry skin. Don’t be alarm about it as it does not mean the colour pigment is fading too quickly. This is simply superficial colour and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. During the healing period, please restraint from swimming, saunas, and sun exposure etc. Please always apply a layer of sunscreen SPF 30 and up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Jenny will give you detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment. You can now enjoy your beautiful new eyebrows!  You will simply love your new, gorgeous, fresh look!

Follow-Up And Maintenance Appointments

Within the first 2 months, a complimentary appointment is provided for client to come back so that the colour or shape of your brows can be adjusted. Eyebrow costmetic tattoo will fade over time, hence maintenance appointment can be scheduled every 12 months. This will help your eyebrows look fresh and long lasting.
